So Proud To be a Part of University of Muhammadiyah Malang

University of Muhammadiyah Malang.
That’s the sentence I read in front of a majestic white building located on the border of the city and district of Malang.
 I walked into it, while looking at the surrounding scenery. The road is very interesting, like being in a tourist spot. On the front there is a helipad, which I know that it is usually used as a place for Pesmaba’s opening ceremony. Went deeper, on the road to GKB 1, there is a banner congratulating the Faculty of Sociology of his achievement being the fifth best sociology faculty in Indonesia (you can read the news here). The article reminded me of the article I’ve ever read on google, which also tells us that my program study, mathematics department, also reach an achievement as the  fifth best faculty of mathematics Indonesia (you can read the news here). Really proud 
Yes, not only the building and the campus is nice arrangement, but UMM also has a good achievement as well. In East Java, UMM is the one and only university who obtained an A accredited institution of the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT). Decree of the Ministry of Education and Culture has been issued through the BAN-PT with a number 074/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-IV/PT/II/2013 February 21, 2013 (you can read the news here).
In addition, UMM still has other achievements, among others:
1. 50 Best College in the Indonesian version of the Higher Education
2. The 100 version Promising Universities Higher Education (Promoted in the World International).
3. 7 Ranking the Best Private Colleges in the Indonesian version of Globe Asia Magazine (2007).
4. World’s campus in East Java version Kopertis VII (2008)
5. PLTMH UMM working with ESDM won Runner up “ASEAN ENERGY AWARD 2009″.

University of Muhammadiyah Malang on currently manages 10 faculties, 1 Graduate Program and 2 Doctoral Program. Of all these faculties there are: 3 Diploma Prodi, 34 Prodi Starata 1, 7 Prodi Graduate, 2  Doctoral Program and 2 Professional Program. Lectures spread over 3 campuses, the Campus 1 (Masters and Doctorate), Campus II (Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Health Sciences), and the remaining lectures in the Campus III.
UMM’s collegians are not only come from various regions in Indonesia, but also from abroad. It is proved that UMM is a leading and trusted university internationally.
UMM is not only develope intellectual, but also puts religious affairs. This is evidenced by the material “Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan” which is used as one of the subjects there. In addition, UMM also advanced in terms of IT. It can be seen from the many college system using advanced technology, among others, such as e-learning, digital libraries, KRS and KHS online, and others. To facilitate the collegians in living systems, technological training is always held at the beginning of the school year, when we was a new collegian. This training was held for a week, which after a meeting each participant is given a task that can deepen the collegian’s skill in using technology.
Now I will leave the topic of UMM’s achievements. I will discuss the classical problem: cost. As a private university, tuition at UMM is quite cheap. With the change in the system this year, if we compare, the cost of tuition at UMM much cheaper than at state universities. there are various ways in admission, such as invitation (without testing), regular lines (test), dedicated lines orphan / fatherless / orphans, and others. Many scholarships are also offered with certain conditions. A lot of the ease with which we get at the Muhammadiyah University of Malang.
There are still many things to tell about this beloved white campus. But, only one sentence is enough to express my opinion, that is: “I am proud to be a part of University of Muhammadiyah Malang.”
